Ghosts

Ghosts are the spirits of those who have passed away. These people often have unfinished business and are unable to go on because of it.

Known Ghosts[]

Evil Godmother[]

After Evil Godmother's 'death', she sought Briar Rose's body to return to the living world. However, her plans never came to fruition because the Fairytale Detective stopped her.

Princess Ivy appeared as a ghost in The Exiled Prince, giving the Fairytale Detective access to parts of the Underground Kingdom. Her guilt for accidentally condemning James into a cycle of lost love prevented her from moving on.

Prince James[]

After getting rid of his curse of immortality, James became a ghost and reunited with his True Love, Princess Ivy.

Amelia and Geppetto[]

After the defeat of the Puppet Master, Amelia and Geppetto appeared as ghosts and saved their dying son, Pinocchio.

Queen Melanie[]

Queen Melanie became a ghost as a result of the guilt and hatred she felt for letting Mother Gothel trick and pass on a terrible power to Belladonna.

Chancellor Cassius []

Chancellor Cassius was a spy for the Kokkino kingdom. His guilt for bringing about the downfall of both the Prasino and the Kokkino kingdoms prevented him from moving on.

Forest Witch[]

The Forest Witch was already a spirit, however, she was able to materialize a physical form for a few hundred years until she lost it. She had to spend many years cultivating energy to appear again, in hopes of telling Giselle the truth behind her disappearance.

Laurent[]

Laurent died from trying to save his fiancee from the Crooked Man. His spirit refused to rest, as he knew that Amely was still in danger. He begged for the Unnamed Protagonist to save his fiancee.

Cheryl[]

After her death from falling down a cliff, Cheryl's spirit couldn't move on.

Traitor Knight[]

One of the members of the Swan Knight was dead because he failed to burn the cursed painting and he can't move on until his spirit that was trapped in the painting is burned so that way he can rest in peace.

Powers and Abilities[]

Because every ghost came from a different background and history, some of them had different powers.

Teleportation: Having no physical form, ghosts can appear and disappear at will.

Visions: Princess Ivy allowed the Detective to see visions of the Frog Prince's past.
Restoration: Geppetto and Amelia could restore Pinocchio's body, turning him into a real boy.
Conjuring magic: Some ghosts have the ability to magically summoning physical objects.
